Funding needed for orphans' medical care

Did you know? This month UAC Ukraine will provide over $2,200 worth of medicine and medical care to orphaned children and teens in the Odessa region. The medical needs of these young people are ongoing, and we need YOUR help to continue providing them with adequate healthcare. Please consider making a donation today-- Together we can save lives.

Warm winter clothing for the kids & teens at Shelter #2

Dozens of kids and teens at Odessa Shelter #2 recently received warm winter coats, hats, gloves, sweaters, shoes and toiletries thanks to UAC Ukraine and our partner New Hope for Children.  

"Ornaments for Orphans" holiday fundraiser

This year, several artists donated their time and talent to create beautiful Christmas items for our first ever "Ornaments for Orphans" holiday fundraiser. All proceeds from the sale of their works of art will be used to buy winter clothing and shoes for the orphaned young people that we serve.

Last month we received a variety of donations from volunteers and sponsors across the U.S.!  All of these items will directly benefit the orphaned young people that we serve in Odessa. A great big thank you goes out to those who contributed to our cause!

Children at Orphanage #5 celebrate Peace Day 2013!

On Saturday September 21st, UAC Ukraine held its 6th annual Peace Day celebration with the children at Orphanage #5. The kids enjoyed peace-themed arts and crafts, games and soccer matches. Dozens of students from our Orphaned Teen Scholarship Program were on hand to run activities and share love with the younger children. Peace was in the air!  

Scholarship Program students receive essential items from donor Mike Maguire

For more than a year, Mike Maguire from Longwood, Florida has gone out of his way to supply some of our hard working Scholarship Program students with necessities such as clothing, shoes, household goods, small appliances, toiletries and other "everyday items" that these young people likely could not afford to purchase on their own. One of Mike's recent shipments of aid contained clothing and hygiene supplies for Andrey Zayats, a 17 year old former student of Orphanage #4.
