Contribute an Item on our Wish List

  • Surgical masks, latex gloves
  • Thermometers, stethoscopes, otoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, pulse oximeters, suction bulbs
  • New jeans (ages 5-17)
  • New winter coats (ages 3-17)
  • New shoes (ages 3-17)
  • New socks & underwear (all sizes)
  • Hygiene products (sanitary pads, toothbrushes, deodorant, acne care products)
  • Art supplies (yarn, modeling clay, oil pastels, glitter, etc.)
  • Christmas stockings

 

Get Involved

  • Organize a fundraiser to help fulfill the needs at a specific orphanage (i.e. food, medicine, educational materials, clothing, computers).  
  • Hold a collection drive for one of the items on our Wish List.
  • Sponsor an orphanage graduate who is pursuing higher education. 
  • Set up an "angel tree" at your workplace or church for the holidays.  
  • Knit hats, slippers and blankets to keep the kids warm during the winter.                                                             
  • Help pack boxes of donations at our office in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
  • Turn gently used clothing into funding for orphans by selling your items to a second-hand retailer such as Twice, Plato’s Closet or eBay. Make it a group activity with your friends!  
  • Ask a local business to hold a “percentage of sales” fundraiser day to benefit the children at a specific institution.  
  • Speak to members of your community about reaching out to the orphans that we serve.  
  • Get creative! Design and sell t-shirts using Booster.com.
  • Use GoodShop and AmazonSmile when shopping online. Both programs donate a % of eligible purchases to UAC’s Ukraine Program.
