Anastasia Borody
#7

Hello!

My name is Anastasia Borody. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Scholarship Program and I am happy to tell you about myself.

I had been living with my father since I was two years old because my mother left us. I don’t feel angry with her. I only pray to God to forgive her.  After that my father was unhappy with his private life until he met a woman. At first, everything was alright but then there were conflicts in our family (I don’t even know why) and I was sent to Orphanage #7 for handicapped children. There I began to believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. You know, I thank God for all unpleasant situations in my childhood because from those situations I got a gift I could have never dreamed of. I am glad I got acquainted with Vera* (*Vera Holostenko, UAC staff member) and that we can continue to communicate today.

After finishing at the orphanage I entered Odessa College of Law, Economics and Hotel-Restaurant Business. I like studying very much and I get tired, of course, but that’s OK!

Now, my father and I rent a room in a communal flat. I also study at a Christian college. I’m a second-year student.

Dear sponsors, I would like to thank you for taking care of children. Thank you for your help and support. I am happy to be in the Scholarship Program and to help other kids, too!

May God bless you.

Yours sincerely,

Anastasia Borody.
